Choosing the Right Lessons for Your Child
Children learn at different rates, so the right lesson depends on their age, current ability, confidence and swimming goals.
Our children's group swimming classes follow Elites Swimming's own bespoke syllabus and provide structured progression from beginner through to advanced levels. Small classes allow instructors to provide individual feedback while children benefit from learning alongside other swimmers.
For more focused tuition, children's private swimming lessons provide 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 coaching tailored to the swimmer.
Advanced swimmers can progress into our Pre-Club Bronze, Silver & Gold programme, while additional options include Rookie Lifesaving, water polo lessons and specialist swimming workshops.
Understanding Progress & Our Teaching Approach
Elites Swimming does not use the Swim England Learn to Swim syllabus. Instead, we have developed our own award and criteria syllabus, drawing on our competitive swimming experience to introduce more advanced skills earlier, build strong technique and confidence, and support continued progression as children develop.
